Growth surrounding the Leland-area and the new Town Creek Middle School necessitates the need for new school assignments. Town Creek Middle School, nearing completion adjacent to Town Creek Elementary School’s existing campus, is expected to open in 2020. Its inaugural class is expected to attend during the 2020-2021 academic year.
The first information session will take place Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. at North Brunswick High School. Brunswick County Schools hired its consultant, Cropper GIS, Sept. 17. Cropper GIS will provide an overview of redistricting objectives, its process, and an updated timeline.
Note: the first session will not include public comment but the second session planned in November will.
The second session is planned to take place Nov. 18 at the same location. Brunswick County Schools will livestream the information session through its Vimeo account.
