Leland police searching for missing teen last seen near Mill Creek Loop area

Police say the missing girl could be heading to the Greenville, S.C. area and are asking for anyone with information to call the Leland Police Department.

WILMINGTON — Leland Police have received a report for a missing teenager, 16-year-old Emily Jean Tucker, who was last seen at a residence near the Mill Creek Loop Area off Village Road in Leland.

Tucker is a white female, 5’2″ and approximately 103 pounds, according to an LPD release. She has hazel eyes and long black hair.

Tucker was last seen wearing an unknown-colored shirt, black leggings, and white Adidas shoes.

“She possibly may be headed
to the Greenville, South Carolina area. Leland Police ask if you have information regarding Ms. Tucker’s location to please contact local law enforcement,” according to Tuesday afternoon’s release.
