ROCKY POINT — Three arrests have been made in the case of six stolen firearms from Rocky Point Guns and Ammo.
According to Captain James Rowell of the Pender County Sheriff’s Office, “During the first half of February, 6 firearms were stolen from Rocky Point Guns and Ammo. Following a joint local and federal investigation, arrest warrants were obtained for Shyheim Robinson, Ulysses Page and Justin Blake Reese. All three are residents of Burgaw. Both Robinson and Page are 16 years old. Reese is 19 years old.”
On Wednesday deputies conducted a traffic stop where Robinson and Page were both taken into custody. Both were found in possession of a stolen firearm at the time of their arrest.
“Robinson and Page were each charged with 6 counts of larceny of a firearm and 1 count of possession of a stolen firearm. Additionally, Robinson was charged with simple possession of Marijuana. Reese is charged with 6 counts of larceny of a firearm. Reese was taken into custody during a separate traffic stop. Reese was placed in the Pender County Jail under a $75,000.00 secured bond. Both Robinson and Page were issued $100,000.00 secured bonds,” Rowell said.
