Update: 14-year-old girl last seen at Wilmington school returned home safe

Update Monday, Nov. 19, 10 a.m. – According to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Adashia Henry has been located and returned home by the Wilmington Police Department. The Sheriff’s Office thanks all those who helped assisted in locating her.
WILMINGTON — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a girl who went missing in Wilmington yesterday.
According to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office (NHCS), Adashia Henry, 14, was last seen at the J.C. Roe school at 2875 Worth Dr. on Thursday, Nov. 15.
Adasha is five feet four inches tall, weighing approximately 115 pounds, with small to medium build, according to NHCSO; she is described by NHCSO as a black female with brown eyes and medium-length black hair.
When last seen, Adashia was wearing dark red tights, a grey jacket, and black shoes.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at 910-798-4200.
