WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department is searching for Terrance La-Drell Fisher, a man who struck multiple vehicles before driving into a house early Monday morning.
“Fisher, traveling east on Dawson Street, struck a parked car around 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 27. The impact of the crash caused the parked car to be slammed into another parked car. Both parked cars were unoccupied. Fisher then lost control of the suspect vehicle, drove through a resident’s yard and crashed into the front porch of a house, tearing down the handrails. After hearing a loud crash, a witness went to investigate the noise and observed Fisher fleeing the scene on foot,” according to WPD Spokeswoman Jennifer Dandron.
The vehicle he was driving was not his own, according to police and it, along with another vehicle, were both totaled. The incident caused thousands of dollars in property damages.
Officers have obtained warrants for arrest for Fisher, 27. He is charged with hit and run leaving the scene with property damage, driving while license revoked and reckless driving.
According to North Carolina Department of Public Safety records, Fisher has multiple convictions for felony robbery and selling Schedule I drugs, and was incarcerated in 2011 and 2016.
