CAROLINA BEACH—Outdoor movies are set to play all summer long at Carolina Beach Lake Park.
The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce has announced its summer lineup of free, outdoor movies. The series started May 27 and will run every Sunday through early September.

Concessions will be available at the lake, including cotton candy, soft drinks, popcorn and more. Residents and tourists are encouraged to bring their own beach chairs, blankets, food and beverages.
The movie lineup includes:
- June 3 – The Jungle Book
- June 10 – The Secret Life of Pets
- June 17 – Peter Rabbit
- June 24 – Nine Lives
- July 1 – Wonderstruck
- July 8 – Hidden Figures
- July 15 – Finding Dory
- July 22 – View from a Blue Moon
- July 29 – Coco
- Aug. 5 – The Emoji Movie
- Aug. 12 – Deep
- Aug. 19 – Ferdinand
- Aug. 26 – Glee the Concert Movie
- Sept. 2 – Paddington 2
All movies start at 8:45 p.m. or at “dusk” according to Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce’s website.
