Update: Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office find missing man

Update: Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. Jeremiah Nathaniel Reyes has been located safe by Brunswick County authorities.

ST. JAMES — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing man, last seen in the St. James area.

Jeremiah Nathaniel Reyes, 41, was last seen leaving the St. James Founders Club on Friday, Feb. 2, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Reyes is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 240 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen driving a 1996 Silver Honda Accord, with North Carolina plates: ZVJ4496.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, it is unclear where Reyes was headed when he left St. James. However, he is “known to frequent Little River, (South Carolina) area.”

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about the whereabouts of Reyes to contact Detective Tony Henson at 910-880-4878, or to call 911.
