Leland Police ask for public’s help to track down pair who stole town-owned vehicle

LELAND — Police are requesting the public’s assistance in tracking down two suspects in a car theft from earlier this month.

Leland Police are searching for one male and one female suspect in the theft of a Leland Town vehicle.

The vehicle was stolen at approximately 9:24 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17 from Hunterstone Drive in Leland; it was recovered later that same day in Winston Salem, around 4:30 p.m.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Detective McCabe of the Leland Police Department at (910) 332-5005.
