Updated: Steven Reid Carter was located and returned to his family Friday afternoon, Sept. 15.
WILMINGTON — New Hanover County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a 15-year-old boy who disappeared before reaching school on Friday.
Steven Reid Carter was last seen at 113 Talamore Court, off Caroline Beach Road just south of the Echo Farms area. Steven is a 15-year-old white male; he is 5-foot, 7-inches and 130lbs, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue button-down shirt and shorts.
Steven attends Ashley High School.
