The classes are for anyone in a parenting role with children ages 5-12 years old. The program is free of charge and includes dinner.

The interactive sessions make learning fun and the material easy to incorporate into real world parenting situations. Facilitators leading the CIS program have received extensive training from The Incredible Years Network and continued support from Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina. While parents meet, children are in another room learning similar age appropriate material. Topics are designed to help increase family communication, cooperation, and respect.

The next series of parenting classes begin in Leland on February 20 and Shallotte on February 21 at 5 p.m. Class space is limited, please call Margaret Roseman, Parenting Education Director, at 910.253.5327 ext. 1435, for more information and to reserve your space or visit www.cisbrunswick.org.
