UPDATE: 9:30 a.m. Thursday,
Information has been received by the sheriff’s office that River Boyd and Macalya Wallace were seen at the southbound on-ramp of U.S. 95 in Hamer, South Carolina at approximately 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, according to an update from the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office. The two teens were last seen leaving South Brunswick High School on Tuesday morning.
Wallace has dyed her hair dark red, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. She and Boyd were holding a sign that stated the two were attempting to travel to Florida. The teens are suspected to be traveling on foot. The vehicle the two were believed to have fled the county in, was not seen by witnesses.

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are searching for two missing teens last seen at a local high school.
Macayla Wallace, 14, and River Boyd, 15, were last seen leaving South Brunswick High School at 8 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office. The two are believed to have left in a silver 2011 Honda Civic, with North Carolina license plate number BBY-4237, driven by Boyd.
The two left in an unknown direction and destination, but are believed to be headed to South Carolina. Boyd and Wallace are known to be in a relationship.
Wallace is a white female who is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. She has blonde shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a green long-sleeve shirt, purple leggings, grey boots and carried a grey backpack.
