New Hanover County Schools is inviting parents to have coffee with the system’s superintendent, Tim Markley, at two different locations in Wilmington next week.
The first coffee session will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at Bitty and Beau’s Coffee Shop, 4949 New Center Drive.
The second will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at Creekwood South Residents Center, 714 Emory St.
The coffee dates will feature question and answer sessions, where parents will be allowed to ask the superintendent about school-related issues and about the new school year, which began late last month.
All parents and guardians of New Hanover County Schools students are invited to attend.
