PENDER COUNTY – Students of Malpass Corner Elementary School in Pender County will have to attend school on Saturday, Sept. 10, to make up for a missed day of instruction this week.
According to Pender County Schools Communications Coordinator Miranda Roberts, classes will be held from 7:45 a.m. until 2:50 p.m. on Saturday.
Students were dismissed early on Tuesday due to a utilities issue, and the school was closed all day Wednesday due to a water pump failure.
No after school activities will be held during the make up day.
