A Rocky Point man was arrested Thursday on sex offense charges against a minor.
Donald Lee Carr, 58, was arrested by Pender County deputies Thursday and charged with one count of felony soliciting prostitution of a minor and one count of misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to Pender County Sheriff’s Office Detective Sgt. K. Malpass.
Carr allegedly accosted a 13-year-old female in the parking lot of a Shell gas station in Rocky Point, Malpass said.
Carr was taken to the Pender County jail and placed under a $20,000 secured bond.
