UPDATE: Missing vacationer found in Brunswick County

UPDATE: 8 p.m. Monday

Niesje Maria-Cicole Estrada, 28, missing since 2 p.m. Friday, has been found and has since reunited with her family. The two men wanted for questioning by sheriff’s deputies are no longer wanted.

Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman Emily Flax said Estrada was in the company of one of the men wanted for questioning, but said Estrada was there willingly.

“No foul play, no charges. She left on her own accord,” Flax said. “When her parents could not reach her by cell phone for some time, they became concerned and contacted us an we opened the investigation. She made a phone call to her dad this afternoon and we were able to trace it to the residence in Calabash where she was found.”

Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are looking for two men wanted for questioning in connection with the disappearance of a 28-year-old woman from Calabash Friday afternoon.

Niesje Maria-Cicole Estrada, 28, was last seen around 2 p.m. Friday at the Carolina Shores Resort in Calabash, according to sheriff’s office spokeswoman Emily Flax. She was on vacation in the Carolina Shores area with her family from California.

Two men were last seen talking to Estrada outside the ABC Store in Calabash. Officers believe the men may be driving a red or burgundy Ford Taurus.

Estrada is a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of a cross on her left shoulder.

Estrada was last seen wearing an orange tank top, jean shorts and flip flops, Flax said.
