Lane closed at Market and 12th streets, near downtown

WILMINGTON — Traffic will shift near downtown Wilmington Tuesday as Cape Fear Public Utility Authority crews do road work following a water main repair Monday.

The outermost westbound lane of the 1100 and 1200 blocks of Market Street at North Twelfth will temporarily close to traffic. Motorists will detour to the inner westbound lanes.

CFPUA expects the closure to last two hours as crews restore asphalt. Overnight Monday, crews completed an emergency water main repair.
