County to host Medicaid Health Fair Expo

WILMINGTON — Parties interested in learning more about Medicaid will be able to attend a healthcare expo on Tuesday.

New Hanover County’s Health Fair Expo will take place at the health and human services building at 1650 Greenfield St. on August 16 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be Medicaid representatives on hand to answer questions about benefits and enrollment.

There will be HHS staff and vendors to for community members to find out about services in physical and mental health, healthy food offerings, and to provide car seat checks. There will be safety demonstrations as well.
