SOUTHEASTERN N.C. — With Monday’s Independence Day holiday approaching, trash pickup in some areas are on a delay.

The Town of Carolina Beach’s trash pickup will operate on a one-day delay this coming week. Monday’s pickups will happen Tuesday; Wednesday’s are scheduled for Thursday; and Thursday’s will take place Friday. Friday trash pickups will remain the same.

The City of Wilmington customers who normally have trash picked up Monday will have a Wednesday pick-up instead. All other service days remain the same.
