
WILMINGTON — A woman faces charges after being pulled over by the Wilmington Police Department early morning Monday.
Around 1:30 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Market Street, a release from WPD detailed. They searched the car and found Crystal Meth, LSD, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
The police arrested 31-year-old Alysha Carroll from Castle Hayne. Carroll was charged with:
- Possession Schedule I and II Controlled Substance
- Possession Schedule VI Controlled Substance
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Carroll had outstanding warrants as well and is being held at the New Hanover County Detention Center under a $5,000 unsecured bond for the drug charges; she has a $6,000 secured bond for outstanding warrants.
