Pender County closes government offices, convenience sites for Thanksgiving

PENDER COUNTY — Pender County trash and recycling convenience sites and the transfer station are closing early on Wednesday this week for Thanksgiving and will remain closed all day Thursday.

Convenience centers will reopen on a normal schedule Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the transfer station will resume operations Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pender County is also closing its government offices for the holidays, Wednesday through Friday. Normal working hours will resume Monday.
