Pender High cancels three volleyball games after Covid diagnosis

PENDER COUNTY ––– Pender County High School has canceled three volleyball games after one of its players tested positive for Covid-19.

Monday’s match at Laney, Tuesday’s match at Topsail, and Wednesday’s match against Wallace-Rose Hill are all canceled.

“Pending the results of COVID test and player availability, the Patriots could return to the court as early as Monday, August 23 at home against Laney,” the district announced in a release.

Pender County Schools is operating under a mask-optional policy for the current academic year.
