Novant looking for musicians, vendors for local summer festival

WILMINGTON — Novant Health announced it will be hosting three Welcome Back Fest street festivals this summer in cities across North Carolina, including Wilmington. The healthcare network is looking for local entertainers and food-truck vendors to participate in the Aug. 7 event in Wilmington (events also are slated for Charlotte on July 24 and Winston-Salem on Aug. 21).

Novant will compensate for participation; musicians can apply here. Food truck vendors can apply here and will be paid a flat fee of $1,000. Selected participants may be included on promotional materials.

Novant’s festival is being hosted to support diversity in small business, while also honoring healthcare herores and celebrate the community coming together in the fight against Covid-19.
