WILMINGTON — The North Carolina Department of Transportation will close the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge overnight, starting at 9 p.m. The bridge will reopen at 5 a.m. on Friday, June 11.
Crews are scheduled to erect scaffolding around the control house of the bridge. NCDOT said the secured scaffolding will not affect traffic upon the bridge’s reopening.
Drivers are asked to use the Isabel Holmes Bridge or Interstate I40 between 9 p.m., June 10, and 5 a.m., June 11.
