
WILMINGTON — The City of Wilmington and New Hanover County’s public pools will be managed by the YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina this summer.
Beginning Saturday, May 29, the city’s Legion Stadium and Robert Strange pools and the county’s pool in Echo Farms will open to the public.
The YMCA plans to offer daily family swim, lap swim, and water aerobics lessons at each pool. Public swim hours vary by pool.
Admission to the aerobics classes is $3 per adult and $1 per child. Reservations are required for water aerobics classes but can be made day of.
View schedules for each pool on the YMCA’s website. Masks are not required at the pools.
