BRUNSWICK COUNTY –– Brunswick County has open appointments for all North Carolinians.

Health Services is now scheduling shots for anyone aged 16 or older, including those in Groups 5, which consists of “everyone who wants a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccination.”

As of Thursday afternoon, first-dose vaccination appointments were available online on Novant Health’s online registration or by calling 910-253-2339. (Note that the call line is closed April 2 in recognition of Good Friday.)

Brunswick County has the Pfizer vaccine available for those 16 and up and the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccine for 18 and older.

“All three available vaccines are highly effective in preventing hospitalization and death caused by Covid-19,” Brunswick County stated.

Brunswick County Health Services is offering people the choice of what type of vaccine they receive based on what is available, although people may need to wait longer for an appointment if they have a preference.
