Pender County opens Covid-19 vaccine appointments

Pender County has opened appointments for Covid-19 vaccines.

PENDER COUNTY – Pender County is taking appointments online and by phone for Covid-19 vaccines.

The health department will administer the shots Tuesday at 803 S. Walker St. in Burgaw.

Vaccinations recently opened up to 16- to 64-year-olds with one or more high-risk medical condition, anyone living in a close group setting and essential workers.

People can register online or by calling 910-663-4200. Pender County stated its registration is best viewed online in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Firefox. It advises against using Internet Explorer.
