Brunswick County opens vaccine appointments

BRUNSWICK COUNTY – Brunswick County is booking Covid-19 vaccine appointments for this week here.

According a county press release, more vaccines were received through the state, allowing Novant Health, Brunswick County Health Services and Dosher Memorial Hospital to schedule more first-dose appointments for this week.

Vaccines will be administered at Brunswick Community College Williamson Auditorium in the parking lot.

Currently, health care workers, people 65 or older and frontline essential workers are eligible for the shots.

Starting Thursday, people in Group 4 become eligible for the vaccine as well. The group includes residents of close group living settings, essential workers, and people ages 16-64 with at least one high-risk medical conditions.
