Free Covid-19 testing available in Wilmington early this month

People can receive a free Covid-19 test on March 4 or March 8 at two different sites.

WILMINGTON – Two free Covid-19 testing events will be held in Wilmington early this month.

On Thursday, March 4, people can receive a no-cost test at Wake Toxicology Lab, located at 4536 Technology Dr., Suite 3, in Wilmington. The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The N.C. Department of Health and Human Services is hosting an event with North Carolina Community Health Center Association and MedNorth Monday, March 8, at 925 N 4th St., from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.


Both sites will also accept children.

Other testing events were also scheduled in Bladen, Duplin and Onslow counties. For a current list of free testing sites, visit the Community Testing Events on the NCDHHS website.
