Little League teams needed as extras for horror film

WILMINGTON — A local production is in need of Little League teams of kids, ages 11-13, to participate in a Mar. 20 scene filmed for “Static.” The horror film, produced by Blumhouse (“Paranormal Activity,” “Halloween,” “Get Out,” “The Purge”), is in production in Wilmington.

A donation will be provided to participating Little League teams. Parents of players will be paid $64 for eight hours, plus time-and-a-half for every hour over eight.

Two Covid-19 tests will be required of players and their guardian(s) ahead of filming. They will receive a $20 bump in pay per test taken, plus a $20 fitting bump.
