Brunswick County Schools announces 2 hour delay

Brunswick County is running on a two-hour delay Friday due to hazardous weather.

BRUNSWICK COUNTY – Brunswick County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Friday, Feb. 19, due to potential hazardous road conditions from inclement weather.

The National Weather Service is forecasting isolated flooding overnight and Friday.

Both in-person and remote staff and students will run on the delay.

“This will give more time to access the conditions of travel for all parties in daylight conditions and ensure the safety of both students and staff,” a BCS spokesperson said.
