Chance of snow puts Pender schools on 2-hour delay

PENDER COUNTY — The Pender County school system announced it would be on a 2-hour delay on Thursday, Jan. 28. The southeastern N.C. area is expecting flurries on Thursday around 5 a.m.

The delay affects in-person and remote learners. Pender County says staff and teachers should report to school campuses as conditions allow.
