Police charge 20-year-old with carrying concealed weapon and resisting officers

WILMINGTON—Wilmington Police Department arrested 20-year-old Olajuwon Moore around 10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2.

Moore approached an officer in a police vehicle in the 1700 block of Orange St., looking in the windows and yelling. Officers tried to frisk Moore, but he pulled away with clenched fists. Officers then placed Moore in handcuffs, and found a 9mm handgun in a coat pocket. 

They charged him with carrying a concealed weapon and resist delay and obstruct. Moore is being held under a $2,500 bond.
