Master Aging Plan survey deadline is Dec. 2

NEW HANOVER COUNTY—The county is releasing its first Master Aging Plan and needs community members to fill out a survey to assess their needs. The deadline to fill out the survey is Wednesday, Dec. 2.

The survey is being conducted by the Senior Resource Center. It asks folks to rate various concerns, from affordable housing and long-term care/assisted living, to providing access to doctors and job training for older workers, from starting new discussion groups to providing home maintenance. Results from the survey will help the county devise new services and resources that benefit the aging population in New Hanover County.
