LELAND — The Town of Leland is hosting a public workshop this week regarding the town’s Integrated Mobility Plan.

It takes place Feb. 20 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 102 Town Hall Dr. According to the Town of Leland: “The plan aims to update and consolidate existing transportation plans into a single, comprehensive document that will guide the Town’s future transportation network over the next 25 years.”

The plan will increase accessibility via trails, sidewalks, roadways, and bike lanes, in alignment with Leland 2045. Travel demand patterns will be analyzed through Leland neighborhoods to help properly improve connectivity.

The public’s input via the workshop and online will help play a key role in refining the plan. The workshop will highlight progress made so far as well.

All residents are encouraged to participate and share perspectives on ways to improve the transportation network. An online survey is available here for anyone who cannot attend the workshop.
