Fall events planned for community in Belville

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — A riverfront town in a neighboring county is preparing to celebrate the autumnal season with a host of events.

The Town of Belville welcomes area residents to its Riverwalk Park, 580 River Rd., throughout the upcoming three months to partake in outdoor activities. The schedule is below:

Oct. 7 — Fall Festival with vendors, and family fun, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Oct. 14 — Cape Fear Coastal Buds Buddy Walk, a fundraiser for Down Syndrome, 9 a.m. to noon
Oct. 21 — N Brunswick Chamber of Commerce’s BBQ, Brews and Bands, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Oct. 21 — Halloween Movie Night, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Nov. 11 — Veteran’s Day Ceremony, 9 a.m. – noon
Dec. 2 — Holiday Lights by the River, Christmas Tree Lighting, vendors, Santa, and family fun, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
