How was your pet’s name chosen?
We adopted her from a shelter in Hawaii, she’s an island girl and we needed a proper Hawaiian name.
Does your pet have a favorite walking route?
Leilani loves to walk the river front to downtown because she loves being above the water and once we are downtown, she gets lots of love from everyone she greets.
What’s the most embarrassing thing your pet has ever done?
When I first adopted Leilani, she was wild and just a young pup with no manners. She jumped from my car at the Whole Foods parking lot in Hawaii as an 18 wheeler was coming to drop off goods. I was yelling for the truck to stop, for her to come to me, and to her, it was the best game of chase as she was wildly darting around the whole parking lot.
Does your pet have a pet peeve? If so, what is it?
None. She is in love with the world and wants to be everyone’s friend.
