North Brunswick (0-0, 4-2)  vs.  Croatan (0-0, 4-2).

With North Brunswick’s athleticism and team speed, good tackling and assignment football is the key for its opponent each week. Jc Smith broke a pair of long touchdown runs again last week, while the kicking game has also shined for Scorpions behind Michael Rivers, who connected on a 30-yard field goal attempt last Friday in the 24-6 win over Ashley.

Croatan rushes for nearly 290 yards per game, but look to rebound following a 49-22 setback against East Carteret. The Cougars beat North Brunswick 14-7 last season, but the Scorpions have won two of its last three meetings with Croatan.

This is the final conference meeting between North Brunswick and Croatan as the Scorpions will move to the Mideastern Conference next season and into the 3A classification.
