Robert Franck tallied twice and Nic Elfter found the back of the net to lead New Hanover past Croatan 3-0 on Tuesday night. Ross Hibbert recorded three assists for the Wildcats.

The Bucs opened the season with a well-played 4-1 victory against Jack Britt. Jackson Young put Laney on the board in the 10th minute off a penalty kick and Tristan Nelson made it a 2-0 lead three minutes later. Nelson notched his second score of the match in the second half off an assist from Tyler Keser, while Jackson Herren put things away late. Keser finished with two assists.

Cape Fear Academy is off to a 4-0 start following an 8-0 shutout at Rocky Mount Academy. Zach Tomosunas led the attack with two goals and two assists, while Holt Robison, Robert Schuett, Walker Moore, Aiden Keller and Preston Meehl found the scoring sheet.
