The hunt is back on.
The Brooklyn Arts Center’s Holiday Flea at BAC returns Dec. 4, giving antique seekers and collectors of the kitsch a one-stop shop for finding their thrill.
Dubbed the “ultimate vintage flea,” this annual extravaganza features vendors from around the region selling their retro, rare and repurposed wares. More than 1,500 shoppers flock to the three-day event each year.
This year’s sale includes dozens of booths with items ranging from Danish modern pieces and campy memorabilia to shabby chic furniture and 70s garb–and lots of upcycled treasures, art and more in between.
The Holiday Flea at BAC kicks off from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4 at the Brooklyn Arts Center, 516 N. Fourth St., and continues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6.
Wilmington’s finest food trucks will be on hand to feed the crowds and there will be a coffee shop in the courtyard to keep you warm. The BAC cash bar will be open and slinging libations.
Admission to the Flea is $5 at the door (children 12 and under are free) and is good for all three days. Parking in the North Fourth neighborhood is free.
