The Wilmington Sharks announced the extension of the organization’s “Thirsty Thursday” promotion to every home game for the upcoming 2013 Coastal Plain League (CPL) season.
Once fans have entered the gate, for just a $2 admission to Sharky’s Cove, everyone 21 and older will have the ability to buy $1 beer and $2 wine during every home game.
“I’m looking to put my thumbprint on what we do at ‘The Shark Tank,’ said Sharks’ general manager Pat Hutchins. “We heard, we listened and we acted. We’re looking forward to our 17th year in the Port City. As always, we will continue to provide an affordable, fun, family environment in the rest of the park.”
The CPL features 14 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The league serves as an off-season home for top collegiate players from across the country, who are housed with local host families for the summer.
