OAK ISLAND — The weekly Oak Island concert series has been canceled due to wet conditions and expected inclement weather Friday evening.
Taking place every week through Aug. 31, the July 26 show was scheduled to have Rivermist — a party band out of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who plays classic rock and R&B.
Instead, the band has been rescheduled to perform last part of Oak Island’s Bands by the Beach on Thursday, Aug. 8, 6:30 p.m.
The full concert schedule can be seen here and all shows take place at Middleton Park Complex, 4610 E. Dolphin Dr.
