Curbside Cinema announces February lineup

WILMINGTON — Since July Cucalorus Film Festival and UNCW have teamed up to present locals a drive-in theater experience. It’s filled a need for cinephiles who miss movies on the big screen but can’t make it to a theater since Covid-19 has many shuttered, or at least hours and seating significantly cut.

Curbside Cinema screens movies every Friday night at 7 p.m. in the parking lot at Kenan Auditorium on UNCW’s campus. The lot opens at 6 p.m., and tickets are $28 a carload at bit.ly/CurbsideCinema.

Concessions are not sold, but bathrooms are available in Kenan Auditorium; masks are mandated when entering the building.

February lineup:
Feb. 5: Frozen II
Feb. 12: Grease
Feb. 13: Groundhog Day
Feb. 19: Toy Story 4
Feb. 26: Indiana Jones – Raiders of the Lost Ark
