Locally filmed “Hightown” in need of African American twins for Oct. 19 shoot

WILMINGTON—Last month, the STARZ-produced “Hightown” relocated from Massachusetts to Wilmington’s EUE/Screen Gem Studios to begin shooting season two.

A SXSW 2020 official selection, “Hightown” comes from executive producer Rebecca Cutter (“Gotham,” “The Mentalist”) and follows the story of a National Marine Fisheries officer (Monica Raymund), who begins to investigate why a body washed up in Provincetown, MA. The show explores Officer Jackie Quiñones’ battle with alcoholism, as well as highlights the opioid epidemic a small town faces.

Filming for “Hightown” is slated to begin next week, Oct. 19, according to a press release from TW Cast and Recruit. The talent agency is in need of two 6-to-8-month-old African American twins, who will be on set no more than five hours. Pay is $250 per child ($500 daily), according to the release.

To keep within protocols of the production, Covid-19 tests will be required of the children and their guardian 72 hours prior to filming. Interested parties can sign up here.

All extras receive an additional $20 for each Covid-19 test taken while working on “Hightown.”
