Ronald Livingston Howle, 74, retired from Union Carbide

SHALLOTTE — Ronald Livingston Howle, 74, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at his residence.

He was born in Conway, S.C., on Jan. 13, 1943, the son of the late Coley Howle and Louise Cook Howle.

Mr. Howle retired from Union Carbide after 50 years. He loved to fish. He listen to music and repaired stereo equipment.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Kathy Howle of the home; two sons, Patrick C. Fields of Tucson, Ariz., and Coley Howle of Mercer, Pa.; four grandchildren, Patrick Jr., Thomas, Devin and Alex; and a host of close friends.

At the request of Mr. Howle, no services will be held.
