SUPPLY — Eldredge Vernon ‘E.V.’ Holden, 83, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 18, at home surrounded by family.

He was born in Supply on Jan. 24, 1934, to Richard W. Holden and Dora Dilsaver Holden. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from March 1954 to March 1956, during which time he met and married his bride, Louise.

Eldredge is survived by his wife of more than 61 years, Louise Holden, and five children; Curtis Holden of Fort Worth, Texas; Mark Holden of Supply; Juanita Glaubitz of Caldwell, Idaho; Tim Holden of Sanger, Texas; and Aaron Holden of Supply. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at Shell Point Baptist Church. Pastor Larry Milliken will preside over services.
