CASTLE HAYNE — Our beloved Paula Kalnen, 52, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 5, 2017.

She had a passion for cooking, plants and animals. Her daughters were her world. She was born in Greensboro, N.C., and grew up in Delco. She was a resident of Castle Hayne for over 30 years. Paula was loud and outspoken. She loved life and would do anything to help anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Robbins and Annie Ruth Robbins.

She leaves behind her husband, Marty Kalnen; daughters, Jasmine Sprouse (Lucas) and Savannah Kalnen; grandchildren, Dallas Kalnen, Emma Henley and Dawson Kalnen; brothers, Larry Robbins (Peggy) and Dwight Robbins (Robin); and nieces, Alicia Robbins, Amy Everhart and Amanda Walrath.

Services will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation. We are asking friends and family to arrive at 5 p.m. and speakers will begin at 6 p.m.

Go rest high on that mountain, Paula. We will see you again.
