WILMINGTON – WDI recognized real estate broker Todd Toconis of Town and Country Real Estate as the Wilmington Downtown Top Producer of 2016. The award was announced at a recent Holiday Meeting and Awards Luncheon of the Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors® (now known as Cape Fear REALTORS).
The Wilmington Downtown Top Producer of the Year Award recognizes the real estate broker who completed the most transactions in Downtown during the year. Mr. Toconis had 19 sides (transactions representing either the seller or buyer) with an investment value of $2,069,000. The area is bounded by the Cape Fear River, Wooster Street, Nixon Street and 16th Street. This is the fourth year that WDI and the Cape Fear REALTORS collaborated on the award.
“This is a great honor to be recognized,” said Todd Toconis with Town and Country Real Estate. “As someone who lives Downtown and also offices here, I am able to offer clients great insights into the quality of life and other benefits of living in our urban center.”
According to Cathey Luna, chair of WDI’s Enjoy Committee, “part of our economic development strategy is to have more people living Downtown. This award recognizes the skills and efforts of the local real estate professional that excelled in this submarket and helped to further accelerate our Downtown revitalization goals.”
“Cape Fear REALTORS is proud to partner with WDI to recognize Todd for his accomplishments in the Downtown Wilmington real estate market,” said 2016 President Don Harris. “These results demonstrate the value of real estate professionals in our community.”
