Sports Round Table (video): Four-way tie in boys basketball; New Hanover girls riding high is your source for free news and information in the Wilmington area.

WILMINGTON — Looking across New Hanover County this week Joe Cats caught up the four girls basketball coaches from the Wilmington high schools on Sports Round Table. The broadcast airs Wednesday’s at 8 p.m. on Time Warner Cable Channel 5 and Charter Cable Channel 91 during the course of the season.

Moving into Friday’s Mideastern Conference schedule, the division standings show a lot of parity on the boy’s side, with a four-way tie between Ashley, Hoggard, New Hanover and West Brunswick. All four clubs have two losses in league play.

The New Hanover girls grabbed a one-game lead in conference following a 57-41 victory over previously unbeaten Hoggard. The Wildcats are riding a nine-game winning streak. Listed below are updated standings.
