SHALLOTTE — Ronald Tyler Faulk, 26, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Faulk was born in Brunswick County on July 31, 1990. He graduated from West Brunswick High School in 2007 and then attended Brunswick Community College for two years.

While in high school, Tyler worked for Joe’s Barbecue in Shallotte. Later, he was employed with Lee Electrical Construction and also as a security guard with Progress Energy. He was currently employed with Mason Construction of Homua, La.

He is survived by his parents, Pamela and David Fearnside of the home; grandparents, Althea “Doll” Scheid of Calabash and Leona Fearnside of Ash; brothers, James Kramer Faulk, and dear friend, Taryn Cavenaugh of Durham, Steven Fearnside (Heather) of Charlotte and Brandon Fearnside of Oak Island; aunt, Tammy Berry (Rob) of Cedar Grove, N.C.; special cousin, Hannah Grace Berry; and daughter, Hayven of Perrysburg, Ohio.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, with the Rev. Jack Patrick officiating. Friends are cordially invited to a time of visitation with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
