CAROLINA BEACH — Jimmy Lee Gause Jr., known as Lee to all, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, at age 34. He lived and grew up in Carolina Beach, N.C. He was such an amazing person inside and out.
He was so loving and caring to all he knew. Lee had the biggest heart anyone could ever ask for; a heart of gold. He loved surfing, playing sports, and most of all, his family and friends. His nephew and niece would light up his world.
He is survived by his father, Jimmy Gause, and mother, Taffy Gause; sister, Kristi Boyd, and her husband, Kenny Boyd; nephew, Konnor Boyd; niece, Kayla Boyd, all of Carolina Beach, N.C., grandparents, Jimmy and Sue Gause of Carolina Beach, N.C., and Peggy Johnson of Wilmington, N.C.; and numerous other family members and friends.
He will be truly missed by so many. May he rest in peace.
The family will received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at Andrews Valley Chapel with the Rev. Preston Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
